Foster is one of the most influential scholars on the vocational and technical education in the world, whose thoughts have had an outstanding effect on vocational education. With reference to current vocational education in China, this paper attempts to comprehend and investigate Forster＇s pluralistic and vocational thoughts, and it is hoped that this research will enlighten the growth of our vocational and technical education.
