To briefly relate treatment for ischemic stroke by stages. To expound pathogenesis of “deficiency in origin” in stroke, using strengthig healthy Qi methods and by stages：Experience of Prof. ZHOU Shi-ming＇s Treatment for ischemic stroke was dwelled. It was introduced therapeutical principle and therapeutical method by stages, and empirical prescription of the Sanshen Diqi Decoction with the addition or subtraction of medicinal ingredients in ischemic stroke.
