Technology progress in synthesis of ethylene glycol by way of natural gas

综述了天然气路线合成乙二醇(EG)的方法,包括合成气直接和间接合成法、甲醇法、甲醛法等,并对这些方法的工艺特点进行了评述。

The processes of preparing ethylene glycol （ EG）by way of natural gas were summarized, which included di- rect and indirect preparation of EG from syngas, conversion of methanol and formaldehyde to EG and so on. The advantages and disadvantages of above processes were reviewed.
