A Multimedia Application System Based on HCS

介绍了在基干Ｃｌｉｅｎｔ／Ｓｅｒｖｅｒ的多媒体创作平台ＨＣＳ上实现的应用系统──防汛抗旱多媒体信息服务系统。该系统能以图、文、声、像的形式实时提供天气预报、气象云图、水文水情等信息，可为防汛抗旱指挥决策工作提供科学依据。

This paper introduces a multimedia application system based on HCS , a multimedia author- ing tool based on Client/Server, It can provide the information of weather forecast , satellite charts and hydrographical data in the forms of image , text , sound and video. The system is im- portant to decision-making in flood-control and drought-resistance.
