摘要 Massive calcification of left atrium is an uncommon complication of long-standing rheumatic valvular disease, and is most often observed in patients with a previous operation on mitral valve. Most patients have experienced symptoms for more than 15 years. Massive calcification of the left atrium generality spared the interatrial septum in the previous studies. However, to our knowledge, fewer than five cases have presented as full left atrial calcification (Table).
