发达国家体育志愿者起步早,已基本形成了完善的实施体系,在梳理发达国家体育志愿者实施的过程时,从各国的具体实施形态中,提炼出共性的、关键的因素,上升为基本特点加以比较分析,实际上是对实施过程的规律性的初步认识。体育志愿者发展的规模和水平,既与社会经济发展程度有联系,又与社会的价值观、精神追求、教育普及等因素有关联。中国体育志愿者发展方兴未艾,2008年北京奥运会极大地推动了体育志愿者发展。

The development of volunteers in sports in China is in the ascendant and the Beijing Olympian Games in 2008 has greatly promoted the development of volunteers in sports.
