Approach and Application of CAD/CAPP Integrated System by Feature Modelling

实现CAD/CAPP集成所面临的最大难题是CAD与CAPP的连接,关键是CAD。为此本文提出了一种特征建模的CAD模型,并论述了在该模型下的零件描述方法、基本几何体的造型方法、数据库的结构及其在HTD—CAD/CAPP集成系统中的应用。在此基础上,进一步叙述了CAPP子系统如何利用零件的设计信息来进行工艺过程的自动化设计。

The greatest difficulty to realize CAD/CAPP integrated system is to link CAD with CAPP, of which the key is CAD. To solve this problem, this investigation provides a CAD model which is established by the method of feature modelling, and deals with the description method of parts in the model, the modelling method of basic geometrics, database Construction and its application in the HTD-CAD/CAPP integrated system. On this basis, this paper introduces further how the CAPP Subsystem automatically generates the process planning through the design informations of Parts.
