摘要
由于金刚石与钎料合金之间高的结合强度以及高的金刚石出刃,钎焊金刚石工具比电镀和烧结金刚石工具拥有更优异的加工性能。使用钎焊法分别制备了单层和多层金刚石取孔钻,通过对硅酸盐玻璃的钻孔实验,对比了单层金刚石取孔钻和多层金刚石取孔钻的使用寿命及加工效率。结果表明:钎焊多层金刚石取孔钻的寿命是单层取孔钻的3倍,但其加工效率比单层取孔钻略低。通过扫描电镜(SEM)对两种取孔钻失效后的表面微观形貌进行观察,发现金刚石与钎料之间具有很高的结合强度,钎焊多层金刚石取孔钻在加工过程中能够实现金刚石的连续出刃。
Due to its high bonding strength between diamond and filler alloy and the high protrusion of diamond grits, the brazed diamond tools possess superior machining performance in comparison with the electroplated and sintered diamond tools, and have drawn much attention recently. In this paper, mono-layer diamond boring drill and multilayer diamond boring drill are fabricated by high temperature brazing, and the machining performance is compared by boring silicate glass. The results show that the life of the multilayer diamond brazed drill is three times as long as that of the mono-layer diamond brazed drill. The machining efficiency of the multilayer diamond brazed drill is slightly lower than that of the mono-layer one. By the observation of scanning electron microscopy (SEM), it is found that there is a strong bond between diamond and brazing alloy in the brazed diamond boring drills, and the continuous protrusion of diamond grits can be achieved in the multi-layer brazed drill in the drilling.
