图书馆核心价值辨析——兼论公共图书馆制度价值

On Discrimination and Analysis regarding Core Value of Library——and discuss the value of public library system

国内外图书馆学专家提出一些图书馆核心价值说,其中一些提法和观点值得商榷。图书馆核心价值应当是对图书馆一般价值的提炼,应当由图书馆维护知识自由、为公众提供服务以及收集、保存文化资源所组成;而公共图书馆制度核心价值则包括保障公民文化权利、提高社会效率和维护公平正义、维护公共利益的价值。

Some theories about core value of library were put forward by experts of library science, but some of them should be deliberated. The core value of library should be come from an abstraction of ordinary value of library, and it should consist of intellectual freedom, service , collection and preservation ; the value of public library system should consist of culture rights of citizen, social efficiency , fair and justice, and public advantage.
