Guiding Ideology and Basic Assignment of Mental Health Education in Universities

心理健康教育指导思想如何提高实效性的问题。程利国教授关于实践唯物主义的心理实质观是确定心理健康教育任务并开展心理健康教育的方法论基础。现以科学的心理实质观为指导，学校心理健康教育的基本任务要以提高学生心理素质为主，以咨询和辅导为辅，面向全体学生，开展发展性与预防性的心理健康教育，解决学生在成长过程所遇到普遍性问题。

It is a basic problem that how to raise the utility with the guiding ideology of mental health education. This article considers that psychological essence viewpoint of practical materialism raised by Professor Cheng Liguo is the methodological basis on setting the tasks of mental health education and developing mental health education. The basic task of mental heath education of universities is to give first place to enhance students＇ psychological quality, and then consult and tutor with the guide of scientific psychological essence viewpoint. We should promote development and prevention of mental health education toward the students in order to solve the universal problems during the growth process of all students.
