Betty Friedan' The Second Stage and the Second-wave Feminism in the United States

In the late1970s, the second-wave feminism in the United States began to decay for numerous factors, Under this special background, Betty Friedan＇s The Second Stage was published in 1981. In this book, she summarized the gains and losses of the seoond-wave feminism which rose in the 1960s and put forward the bistoric task of the second stage and the new mode： Beta mode that should be adopted at the second stage, which still serves as guidelines for our Women＇s Liberafion movement.
