Oxaliplatin was synthesized from potassium tetrachloroplatinate （Ⅱ） and trans-L-1,2- cyclohexanediamine by condensation to give cis-dichloro （trans-L-1,2-cyclohexanediamine） Pt （ Ⅱ ）, followed by reaction with silver oxalate with an overall yield of 86.7 %.
