Indeterminacy, as one of fundamental features in postmodernist literary texts, is fully embodied in Babysitter by Robert Coover. This paper intends to interpret and analyze the paradoxical inconsistency, juxtaposition, discontinuity and randomness employed by Coover to reveal the incertitude of a chaotic world in the postmodern age.
