The Developing Orientation Strategy of Newly-upgraded Local Universities

运用SWOT分析法全面论述了高等教育国际化环境下新建地方本科院校面临的机会、威胁,自身的优势、劣势,指出了许多新建地方本科院校发展中的误区,提出在新建地方本科院校在发展中应科学定位,抓住机遇,规避威胁,挖掘自身的比较优势,合理配置资源,优化办学层次、专业设置组合,强化内部管理,提高组织效能,寻求发展空间,以达可持续发展。

In this paper, the author analyzes the opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of newly-upgraded local universities in the situation of internation- alization of higher education, and then points out the misconceptions in the development of newly- upgraded local universities. And some suggestions such as to position scientifically,grasp the opportu- nities, avoid the threats, make full use of the relative strengths, collocate the resources skillfully, optimize level of disciplines and combination of specialties, strengthen management so as to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of newly-upgraded local universities are also presented.
