Synthetic or chemical fiber spinning reduces a fiber forming material by drawing it longitudinally to filaments by mechanical draw forces applied at their ends through godets, bobbins winding them up or at their skin by aerodynamic forces spunbond, meltblown. Nanoval differs fully from this method as filaments are formed by splitting a liquid stream under attenuation and quenching it into a multitude of finer filaments, at most continuous, its number can be up to several hundreds from one monofilament.
