9．11事件结束之后不久，美国联邦应急管理局（FEMA）和美国土木工程师学会结构工程研究所（SEI／ASCE）就组成了一个研究小组，集合了土木、结构和防火工程师，共同研究世贸中心（WTC）建筑的结构特性。
One suggestion of this research report is, when the fire-proof materials encounter abrasion, strenuous vibration, high temperature or heating, the testing method of measuring the limit of fire resistance, adhesive attraction, cohesion and performance index needs a further research.
