摘要
20世纪90年代以来，中国电气火灾的发生率一直居高不下，每年约占火灾总起数的25％左右，与“用火不慎”并列为诸火灾原因之首，造成了巨大损失。据2002年中国火灾统计年鉴显示，当年发生电气火灾30954起，约占火灾总数的1／4，共造成371人死亡，直接经济损失达3亿多元。
