一种基于步态特征的身份识别方法

摘要 提出了一种基于步态特征的身份识别方法。首先用背景减除方法检测行人的轮廓;然后将二维的人体轮廓转换为一维的不变矩信号,把人体的步态序列变换为不变矩矢量;最后规格化不变矩矢量,采用最近邻法进行识别。实验结果表明该方法有好的识别性能。 A gait-based method for human identification is described. At first, a background substraction algorithm and a simple correspondence procedure are used to segment and track the moving silhouettes of a walking figure from the background. Then, the body contour represented in 2D signature is transformed into moment invariantsrepresented in 1D signature. The gait sequences can be represented using moment invariants vectors. Finally, the vectors are normalized and the subject classification is performed by nearest neighbor matching to recognize the gait. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has an encouraging recognition performance.
