Viewing China's Reform Process from the Formation and Control of Current Inflation

从当前通货膨胀的形成和治理看,某些方面的改革还相对滞后,突出反映在与政府管理体制有关的改革;要素价格形成机制市场化方面的改革。这意味着改革需要继续向深度推进,也意味着在分析通货膨胀问题时,不能忽视中国仍处于体制转型之中这一基本特征,应当进一步放宽视野,开拓思路。

Seeing from the formation and control of China＇s current inflation, some reforms are still lagging behind, especially reforms associated with government administration system and reforms in market-oriented factor price formation mechanism. It indicates that China＇s reform process still needs to be further pushed forward, and that we can＇t neglect the basic characteristics of China still in transition to market economy when analyzing the issue of inflation and accordingly we need to broaden our views and deepen our thoughts when diagnosing and dealing with inflation.
