摘要
目前在高带宽、长时延网络中使用TCP协议进行数据传输所能使用的有效带宽通常很低。提出了一个正的网络模型系统,用来分析使用drop-tail队列和AIMD拥塞控制算法网络的基本特征,并借助分析引申出来的观点,对高速长距离网络下应用的TCP进行分析和改进。
In Long Fat Networks using TCP protocol can often result a low effective link bandwidth. A positive systems network model is developed that captured the essential features of communication networks employing droptail queuing and AIMD congestion control algorithms and used the insights gained from the analysis of the dynamic properties of this model to analyze and improve the TCP for High-Speed and Long-Distance Networks.
