摘要
采用纤芯弹光系数大于包层弹光系数的长周期光纤光栅,且在其包层外面涂覆一层随温度升高折射率减小的薄膜材料,同时采用线膨胀系数较大的金属封装光栅等三种增敏措施,可提高长周期光纤光栅温度传感器的灵敏度,测得其灵敏度系数为0.2375 nm/℃,温度分辨率小于0.1℃。
The sensitivity of long period fiber grating (LPFG) has been increased through three measures: using the LPFG whose core strain coefficient is larger than that of the cladding; coating a thin layer of film on the cladding, which the refractive index would decrease with increase of temperature; packaging the LPFG with metal that has larger linear expansion factor. The resulted temperature sensor shows a sensitivity coefficient of 0. 237 5 nm/℃ ,and a temperature resolution of less than 0.1 ℃.
