在长输油气管道上进行风险评估是一项值得推广的实用新技术。本文论述了在我国开展风险评估的必要性，讨论了风险评估方法及其合理性，对W．KentMuhlbauer风险评估的方法提出了补充和修改性意见：设置适当的事故原因类别及其因素，选取适当的取值范围，采用科学的评估方式等，使之更能适于不同的应用场合。此外，阐明了风险评估的重要作用，强调应不断探索，积累经验，使这项技术在我国管道工业中发挥更大的作用。

Risk assessment of oil and gas pipeline is a valuable and applicable technology. The paper expains the necessity to introduce the technology into our pipeline,discusses the method and suitability of it.and gives some complementary and amending propositions to Mr W. Kent Muhlbauer's assessment ─ setting correct categories and factors of accident sources, assigning suitable score range and adOPting scientific assessment approaches according to different applications. In addition, the paper expounds the importance of risk assessment, and stresses on keeping research and accumulating experience to make full use of the technology in our pipeline industry.
