摘要
异化和归化作为翻译策略,两者各有千秋可相互补充,本文通过比较狄更斯《远大前程》的两个中文译本,列举了两种策略各自的优点,讨论了应该如何根据翻译的基本任务和基本要求,恰如其分地交错使用这两种方法。
Foreignization and Domestication are acknowledged as two major strategies in translation,which are highly complementary to each other.Through comparing two Chinese versions of Charles Dickens＇ Great Expectations,this paper lists the advantages of the two strategies as well as discusses the appropriate application of them in accordance with the requirement of specific translation tasks.
