清代词学理论批评中的词意论,大致可划分为三个阶段:清代前期为古典词意论的凸显期;清代中期为古典词意论的拓展与充实期;清代后期为古典词意论的深化与完善期。这三个阶段,标示出词意论发展到清代,其论说呈现出不断拓展、充实、深化与完善的特征。
