After the Cold War,economic globalization has become the most prominent characteristic of international economic and political affairs. Some scholars have cast doubt oil the role of countries, thinking that countries are retreating while markets are advancing. In view of this, Robert Gilpin analyzes in great detail the nature and process of economic globalization, pointing out that economic globalization is inherently fragile.
