摘要
该文从静止图像编码、视像会议系统、ＭＰＥＧ和ＶｉｄｅｏＣＤ、电话的视频信号、第二代视频编码技术、视频彩色空间和分辨率等６个方面介绍了视频压缩技术的最新发展，并对未来的ＭＰＥＧ４进行了分析。
In this paper, the new development of video compress technique has been presented from static graphic coding,View-graph meeting system, MPEG,Video CD. Video signal of telephone and the second generation Video coding technique, and analysed the technique for the MPEG 4 in the future was analysed.
