全球空运业在经历了1990～1993年的总体净亏损之后,自1994年开始,又迎来了其大发展的一个好时期。随着世界经济的稳步复苏,航空交通量持续快速增长,航空公司营业利润同步增加。与此同时,飞机订货量回升,机场建设步伐加快,空管系统正在发生着现代化变革,安全形势平稳发展;许多国家致力于发展自由化的国际航空运输关系,航空公司的结盟已成为世界潮流。在世纪之交的10年间,全球空运业发展的内部条件和外部环境会进一步好转,将继续保持强劲的增长,并获得更高的效率、更大的收益。

World air transport industry, after the gross net loss period of 1990~1993, has stepped into a new circle of great development. Since world economy is recovering steadily, air traffic is increasing rapidly and constantly, coinciding with growing operating profit. Meanwhile, aircraft order is rising, along with airport construction speeded up, ATC modernized and safety situation improved. Many countries are endeavoring to prompt the trend of liberal world air transport relationship. The alliance of airlines has become a fad around the world. In the decade around turn of century, internal and external circumstances of the industry will be better.
