The contents, method and application situation of TRIZ（TIPS, Theory of Inventive Problem Solving） theory are discussed. Based on one common coordination design method, the TRIZ theory can be put into coordination design. A theory of coordination design system based on TRIZ is put forward by taking the numerical control engine bed design as the example to explain the design process, And it is feasible to use the system in mechanic design.
