Preliminary Discussion on the Etiology and Pathogenesis and Therapeutic Principles and Methods of Barrett’s Esophagus in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Barrett食管(BE)被认为是一种癌前病变,与食管腺癌的发病密切相关。气、痰、瘀、热、毒互结于食道,津亏血燥,食道干涩是Barrett食管发病的关键;行气化痰、活血行瘀、清热解毒、和胃降逆、滋阴润燥为本病的治疗大法。

The Barrett＇s esophagus is an esophagus disease of precancerous lesions, and closely relates to the glandular cancer. It＇s important etiology and pathogenesis are the complex of qi-obstruction, phlegm-stagnation, blood-stasis and heat-toxin in the esophagus and liquidblood depletion. Therefore, they are the therapeutic principles and methods of Barrett＇s esophagus by regulating-qi, resolving-phlegm, activating-blood and dissolving-stasis, cleating heat and resolving-toxin, harmonizing stomach and downbearing counterflow and enrichingyin and moistening dryness.
