空间语作为一种非语言交际手段在跨文化交际中起着重要的作用。空间语所传递的信息主要通过以下三种方式表达——领域观、体距观以及空间取向。不同文化背景下,人们对空间语的解读也会有所差异。因此在跨文化交际中,为确保交际的成功,对于空间语的探讨和研究是有必要的。

Space language, as a means of nonverbal communication, plays an important role during the intercultural communication. The meanings of space language are mainly conveyed through territoriality, proxemics, and space orientation. ＂Language of space presents different cultural implications in different cultural communities. Therefore, during the intercultural communication, in order to achieve the goal of communication, it is quite necessary and important to perceive different meanings of space language in different cultures.
