小波变换在图像压缩中的应用研究

The Application of Wavelet Transform in Image Compression

本文在MATLAB平台上运用小波变换,实现了一级和二级不同扫描次数的图像压缩,并对其结果进行分析比较,验证了小波变换在图像压缩中的可行性和优越性。

Based on the platform of MATLAB, this paper actualizes the image compression of one-degree and two-degree Wavelet Transform. The result shows that the wavelet transform is feasible and superior in image compression.
