摘要
从音韵、词汇与修辞、意蕴三个层面分析格律诗英译中的翻译和变通问题。结合翻译实例论述翻译诗歌要尽可能保留原诗的音韵之美,格律诗中的平仄押韵等与英诗的音步韵格之间存在可译性,因此可在不损原意的基础上表现出原诗的音韵之美;中国诗歌的用词、文法和修辞要有适当的译入语与之对应;上乘的译品能再现原作的意蕴。
The issues concerning translating classical Chinese poems into English are analyzed on three layers namely： sound, wording and rhetoric,artistic mood or implication,focusing on how to adapt the prosodic conventions of Chinese into those of English; how to deal with wording and rhetoric of Chinese poetry in an English context ; and how to reproduce artistic mood or implication of the original poems.
