从英汉对比的角度赏析文学作品的翻译——以王佐良《论读书》译文为例

Appreciation of Literary Work's Translation from the Angle of English and Chinese Contrast——Take Wang Zuoliang's Version of On Reading as an Example

本文分析了英国十六世纪文学家培根的《论读书》的文体特征,简要介绍了我国翻译家王佐良的译学主张,并重点从词法包括名词、介词和代词及句法包括形合与意合、省略与重复方面分析了王佐良译文的特点。

This paper analyses the stylistic characteristics of On reading, which was written by the British writer Francis Bacon in 16th century. It introduces briefly a Chinese translator, Wang Zuoliang＇ s translation theory and focus on his translation characteristics from the aspects of morphology, including nouns, prepositions , pronouns and syntax, including hypotaxis and paratactic, omission and repetition.
