Vernacular Architecture toward Epoch

针对目前乡土建筑研究现状,提出乡土建筑研究必须在观念上更新,要与当代建筑实践相结合,同时在建筑教育中整合乡土知识传授方法。只有这样乡土建筑才能真正迎接新世纪的挑战。

Under current condition, the concept of vernacular architecture study must be renewed and should integrate with contemporary practice. The teaching method of vernacular knowledge should also be assimilated into architectural education. Only when do as above, can vernacular architecture meet to the challenge in new century.
