楚雄州大学英语口语教学的制约因素及对策探究

Analyses on the Influential Factors of College Oral English Teaching and Some Solutions in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture

外语教学的重要目的之一就是培养学生熟练运用英语进行口头交际的能力。在对楚雄州大学英语口语教学中存在的制约因素进行分析的基础上,从教师教学的角度,提出了提高大学英语口语教学的策略:教师应该从思想上转变传统教学理念,加强英语听说训练;积极开展灵活多样的口语实践活动;开辟学生第二课堂;组织英语口语测试;充分利用多媒体技术等,以切实提高大学生的英语口语表达能力。

One important purpose in foreign language teaching is to cultivate students＇ oral ability in English. The paper analyzes some influential factors of college oral English teaching in Chuxlong and puts forward such solutions from the perspective of English instructors as the followings： they should, as teachers, transform their traditional ideas in teaching and attach importance to English speaking and listening; organize various and flexible oral English practices both in class and after class; explore practical classes; hold the oral English tests and make full use of the multimedia technology. Meanwhile, instructors have the responsibility to create loose and good atmosphere to enhance students＇ oral English ability.
