The surge-proofing control and stabilizing blast pressure/ stabilizing blast volume control were two important control functions of a blower unit, of which the surge-proofing control was the safety control system of blast furnace blower, and the stabilizing blast pressure/ stabilizing blast volume control was an important control to make blast furnace realize stable, economic and reliable running. Various schemes for the blower control system were presented.
