The Post-modern Shift of Sociological Theories

社会学是现代性的科学。随着现代性逐渐分裂为科学现代性与人文现代性,且日益加剧,导致了社会学的困境;作为走出困境的一种尝试,社会学出现了后现代转向——后现代社会学;后现代社会学是在对现代性和传统社会学理论的反思、传统社会学对自身的反思以及后现代社会学对其自身反思的共同作用下得以建构其话语的;它没有超越现代性的框架,这种多重反思的目的是追求现代性的自我完善。

Sociology is the science of modernity. With the division of modernity into scientific modernity and humanistic modernity, the dilemma of sociology appears. As an attempt to get out of the dilemma, sociology undergoes a shift and becomes post-modern sociology; post-modern sociology constructs its discourse by reflecting on modernity and traditional sociological theories, and also through the self-reflection of traditional sociological theories and post-modern sociology; post-modern sociology hasn＇t surpassed the frame of modernity and the goal of such multiple reflection is to seek for the self-improvement of modernity.
