回顾了北京材料工艺研究所成立４０年来的发展历程。４０年来，北京材料工艺研究所从无到有，从小到大，在航天材料工艺研究方面取得了重大成就，为我国航天事业的发展做出了应有的贡献。

The past 40 years of Beijing Institute of Materials and Technology have been reviewed since it is founded on Dec. 3 , 1957. The elapsed years witnessed the founding and growing up of the institute, and were accompanied by successive breakthroughs in the field of aerospace materials and processing technology. Due contributions have been made to the development of the aerospace industry.
