六九三厂经过２５年的艰苦创业，在国内首先研制出高可靠的双曲线插孔，目前，研制生产的５０多个系列，近２０００个品种的电连接器及垂直度测试设备，除用于各航天型号外，广泛应用于航空、舰船、电力、通讯等领域。在基础技术方面，小型化、压接、滤波、玻璃封结、三通、二次锁紧、防反插、容错设计等十余项技术处于国内同行领先地位。产品多次获得全国科学大会奖、国防科委成果奖、部科技进步奖、省科技成果奖。产品质量保持了２０多年无一失的光荣记录。通过“九五”规划的实施，六九三厂将建设成为航天电连接器研制生产基地。

Twenty five years have passed since the founding of Factory No.693. The factory developed the first high reliable hyperbolic jack in China, and 2 000 varieties of electric connectors and test equipments for perpendicularity in 50 lines have been developed and they are used not only in spacecrafts but also in aviation industry, ship building industry, power equipments and communication equipments. In basic techniques, more than 10 items including miniaturization,crimp connection, filtration, etc. are in the lead of the same items at home. The productors developed by the factory won a prize for many times. Factory No. 693 will be built into a development and production base of space electric connectors in the near future.
