运用主题教学法培养大学生英语综合应用能力

Utilizing Theme-based Approach to Cultivate College Students' English Comprehensive Application Competence

教育部颁发的《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》明确提出大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力。为了达到该目标,笔者尝试将以建构主义为理论基础的主题教学法融于具体的任务中,并在教学过程中付诸实施。总的来说,学生对老师所采用的教学方法持肯定态度,并认为该方法有助于学生英语综合应用能力的培养。

The newly - issued syllabus puts forward the idea that the teaching purpose of college English is to cultivate students＇English comprehensive application competence. The author combined theme - based approach into concrete tasks, and applied them to teaching process. In general, students hold a positive attitude to the method and believe it is helpful to the development of students＂ English comprehensive application competence.
