在西方礼貌理论中较有影响理论框架当属利奇的礼貌原则和列文森的礼貌策略两种理论对礼貌的内涵及外延做了较为系统深刻的研究,对不同文化领域的礼貌研究都有一定借鉴意义。文章从文化的角度出发对礼貌原则及策略作以阐述,并分析其认知模式的内涵,对于语用原则的话语意义作出理解。

They made systematic study about the connotation and denotation of politeness.
