摘要
将分层树集合划分算法(Set Partitioning in Hierarchcal Trees,SPIHT)引入到感兴趣区域(Region of Inter-est,ROI)编码中。结合JPEG2000中最大位移法和尺度法对感兴趣区域处理时的优点,提出了基于SPIHT算法的感兴趣区域图像编码的新方法。此算法的优点是:位平面数减少,整个图像的基本信息能够优先被恢复出来。在解码端,依靠原有的SPIHT解码程序就可以将其解码出来。
On the basis of set partitioning in hierarchical trees(SPIHT) algorithm, a novel region of interest(ROD image coding method based on SPIHT is proposed. It combines with the advantages of max shift method and genericscaling-based method for process of ROI in JPEG2000. The number of bit planes is reduced and the base information of whole image is rebuilt at first by the merit. The image can be decoded applying original SPIHT decoding program.
