The performance characteristics of soybean protein fiber were described, and the processing practice of polyurethane, soybean protein fiber and colored cotton by siro-spinning core-spun yam were analysed. The process flow design and key measure were discussed. Processing parameters of each process were optimized and technology measures were adopted to guarantee the spinning and enhance yarn quality.
