摘要
晋文公、晋悼公先后争霸成功,大概有多方面的因素,但领导集团内部的尚能让贤是其中最重要的原因。因为尚能让贤在一定程度避免了争权夺利的内耗,使人们专注于国家集体的事务,并在一定范围内形成了才职相称的健康机制,同时也激发了人们舍生忘死、报效国家的热情。
The reason why Jinwengong and Jindaogong could be overlords lies in many respects. The practice at that time that an official could give up his position to the one who was more competent, however, might be the most important reason, which helped avoid conflicts within the group, and helped shape a 'competence-based' promotion system. In the meantime, this practice also encouraged the people to contribute.
