The structures,technology and materials of cast iron brake shoes for locomotives and high speed motor cars are greatly improved in line with different application conditions in Russia and Japan.It is suggested that the alloyed cast iron brake shoes be further developed with reference of foreign technics in order to meet the requirements of speed increase and heavy haul in our country.
