In this paper,three schemes for transporting boiler barrel——the important part in large-scale electric generating equipment——on railway are introduced.The advantages and disadvantages of the three schemes are compared.The conditions of side bearing clearance on long and big cargo freight car with spherical center plate in the process of transport are analysed,and suggestion for modification of related contents in Specifications for Over-Gauge Freight Transport on Railway is put forward.
