增稠剂是一种具有化学活性的矿物质，它能改变水泥浆体的流变性，显著提高钢纤维混凝土拌合物的工作性，保证纤维在混凝土结构中的均布性，增强纤维与混凝土基材间的粘结特性，较大地提高硬化后钢纤维混凝土的强度，以及抗疲劳性能．采用增稠剂和普通的施工方法，能方便地制作出高强度的钢纤维混凝土构件，值得在实际工程中推广．

A thickening agent is a kind of mineral substances with chemical activity. It can greatly improve the rheological properties of cement mortar, the performance of mixed material of steel-fiber-rein forced concrete and maintain the uniformity of fiber in concrete structures. It can also strengthen the cemenlation between fiber and concrete as well as increase the strength of steel-fiber-reinforced concrete and the resistive fatigue behaviour. The steelfiber-reinforced high-strength concrete elements can be made conveniently by using the thickening agent and common construction method. So it has a hikh worth of application in practical engineering.
