On the Tutorial System of Undergraduates

文章首先描述了英国大学实行的导师制及其贡献,然后分析了我国大学教学管理体制当中存在的一些瑕疵。在对比两种不同文化背景中产生的不同教学管理体制的基础上,进一步探讨了在我国大学本科阶段实行导师制的可行性,并指出在我国实行导师制所要研究和解决的问题。

This thesis depicts the Tutorial System employed in the Great Britain and its contribution in history. Some flaws in the present Chinese teaching and administrative system are analyzed after that. Based on the comparative study of this two teaching and administrative systems whieh are derived form two different cultural backgrounds,the feasibility to adopt Tutorial System in Chinese university education and the problems waited to be overcome are discussed.
