介绍了无线定位技术的前景,分析了目前两种主要无线定位技术即基于GPS和基于蜂窝移动通信网络定位的优缺点,接着提出一种GPS和蜂窝网相结合的混合定位方法。该方法将GPS和蜂窝网TOA测量值相结合,弥补了独立的GPS和基于蜂窝网络定位方法的不足,是一种具有较高定位精度的定位方法。

The prospect of the wireless location technology is introduced in this paper..The main characteristics of two types of the wireless location techniques based on GPS and cellular mobile communication networks are analyzed. Then this paper proposes a hybrid GPS/Cellular-networks location method, which combines the measured values from GPS and TOA of Cellular-networks, and compensates the weakness of independent GPS and location method based on cellular-networks. The hybrid location method is a high accuracy of location method.
