摘要
为了提高图像匹配的速度和精度,提出了一种基于小波分解图像匹配算法,该算法首先用Mallat算法对匹配图像进行小波多尺度分解,然后提取各级的边缘特征,最后在对图像进行多级分解的基础上进行匹配。该算法不仅减少了计算量,而且提高了图像匹配的精度。实验表明,提出的匹配算法在速度和精度上都是有效的。
A image matching algorithm based on wavelet decomposition is proposed in this paper to increase the running efficiency of the image matching. Firstly, the images are decomposed into several layers based on Mallat algorithm. Secondly, the edge feature points are detected separately. Finally, the images are matched based on multiscale analysis. The algorithm not only decreases computing workload, but also improves the precision of image matching. The results confirm the proposed algorithm can improve the efficiency distinctly.
